So yes I've been kind of obsessed with wedges lately...

I currently own one pair of gorgeous wedges but would love someone to just donate me some more.. maybe the above ones from Asos.com! Can't wait to return to my beloved Manchester so I get the chance to browse through so so many second hand shops and flea markets for some bargains.. and to drool over everything in Topshop!

I've just remembered I've got a gift card to Victoria's Secret, hoping to spend it sometime next week :)

wish i could turn back time

Just a quick one - I'm home for lunch and I've got a bit of time before going back to work to do my actual shift! The morning training was an interesting one, we talked about customer service, all the different expectations customers might have and how to do that little extra to ensure they return even if something went wrong during their stay at the resort.

And linking that to holidays and exploring new places, I wanted to share a picture of one of the most beautiful cities I've ever visited... Venice, Italy. I had a summer job on a campsite by the sea about 30 minutes boat ride from Venice and spent countless days off just walking around in the amazing city :) good memories of one of the best summers of my life, and boy I wish I was as tanned as I was at the end of that summer in Italy!!

I'm so in love with these Topshop heels...

I sunbathed maybe a bit too long today... pinkish face despite all the suncream and I've got a customer service training session at 8.30am plus an evening shift tomorrow although I feel like hiding my face till it returns to its normal colour!! oh dear dear me

new shoes new shoes

The shoes I ordered from CharlotteRusse arrived yesterday! Very very happy with the quick delivery, and now the chunky pink/wooden ones make my Friday night outfit absolutely perfect :) However, I'm trying to decide whether I should return the wedges as they make a funny, kind of a squeaky noise, when I walk in them... it's the knot bit making the worst noise and I'm not sure if it will annoy me to the point that I can't wear them!

Can't believe how quickly this week has passed - it's Friday again :) :) and as usual, I'm working till 11pm today and going out straight from work so I've already chosen my outfit for tonight. Definetely need a nap before work though... we had our weekly staff meeting at 8.30am, and after finishing work at 11pm last night and not a very good night's sleep I'm way too tired to even think about gym or work right now. Will need lots of energy on the dance floor tonight ;)

saving up for travelling?

... two words: online shopping! I was soooo bored at work last night, just browsing through a load of online shops and drooling at all the lovely pieces I would buy if I was a millionaire. Next thing I know, I’ve placed an order on CharlotteRusse.com woops. I’m not a big fan of their clothing as I usually prefer Forever21 but simply couldn’t resist the offer they had on their shoes: Buy 1 get 1 for $15. Now I’ve got the two cutest pairs of heels coming my way and I couldn’t be happier, especially because I got them for $53 J J I’m very picky when it comes to buying heels and I’d rather spend that bit more money to only buy heels that will last, which is why I’ve only got Topshop and Aldo heels in my wardrobe at the moment... I threw away all my crappy New Look and Primark ones when I was packing my life into cardboard boxes before moving to the US. I'm giving CharlotteRusse a go and hoping for the best!

Clearly got a tiny bit carried away with my summer wardrobe post yesterday... shopping-wise, I’ve been really good lately as I’m saving pretty much every cent I earn for my travelling in June but everyone deserves a treat every now and then, right?

It’s my first day off today since I got back from Miami and I’m planning on having some breakfast first, then reading through the new posts on all my favourite blogs, start taking photos of my wardrobe, have a nice, long workout at the gym, get on with my uni work and go to the cinema in the evening J Sounds like a perfect day off for me... except for the uni work.

What a great morning – I was reading though my favourite blogs’ updates and discovered this great website called Fashiolista. It’s very simple, you just create a profile and love clothes, shoes, accessories etc. you find on the website or anywhere online, and Fashiolista collects them all together for you and everyone else to see your style on your profile! Love it J

Viimeiset pari päivää on mennyt tosi nopeasti, enkä ole ehtinyt tähän koneelle tarpeeksi pitkäksi aikaa edes lukemaan lemppariblogien uusimpia päivityksiä! Mulla on seitsemäs työpäivä putkeen menossa ja alan olla aika valmis seuraavaan kahteen vapaapäivään J Eilen olin mun huonekaverin kanssa aamuvuorossa, ja mitenkäs siinä kävikään niin, että töiden jälkeen oltiin matkalla Savannahiin? Mulla oli tarkoituksena löytää ihan perus mustat sukkahousut... mutta tietenkin löytyi jotain ihan muuta! Eilisten Forever21-ostosten lisäksi tuhlasin veronpalautusrahoja Topshop.com –sivuilla, ja seuraavat ihanuudet on tulossa mun suuntaan:

Ja ne sukkahousut ostin supermarketista aamulla ennen töitä J Mulla on ihanin pikkumusta varattu uudeksivuodeksi, mutta sen helman pituus on hieman kyseenalainen eli sukkahousut pakko vetää ylle hehe.

Työkaveri juuri kantoi mulle ison, kauan odotetun joululahjapaketin Suomesta – siitä paljastui suklaata ja salmiakkia, suomalaisia lehtiä ja äidin tekemät ihanat lapaset. Oon ihan yhtä hymyä, kun luulin että se paketti katosi postiin enkä saisi sitä ikinä.

Loppupäivä kuluu siis varmasti suklaata mässyttäessä, ja yhden harjoittelijan synttäripäivällisillä plus drinkeillä myöhemmin illalla. Laters!

Eilinen työvuoro oli kyllä yksi tylsimmistä ikinä tekemistäni. Koska meillä on tosi hiljaista tällä hetkellä, joinakin päivinä meitä harjoittelijoita on vastaanotossa töissä vaan kolme koko päivän aikana – eilen siis yksi aamuvuorossa 7-15, toinen teki päivän 11-19 ja minä sit sen iltavuoron 15-23. Voin vaan sanoa että toivottavasti jäi mun ainoaksi ja viimeseksi illaksi yksin, oli nimittäin sen verran tympivää seisoa yksin vastaanottotiskin takana se neljä tuntia!!

Mutta kyllä mä sain ajan kulumaan ihan kohtalaisesti, viihdytin itseäni online-ikkunaostoksia tekemällä. Mulla on hakusessa nudet korkkarit ja hain vähän inspiraatiota Aldon nettisivujen kautta J ja löytyihän sieltä vähän muutakin kivaa..

Palkkapäivä on joulun vuoksi jo torstaina, joka on sattumoisin myös mun vapaapäivä, eli siis auton nokka kohti Oglethorpe Mall -ostoskeskusta Savannahissa. Ehkäpä ostan ihanaiset kengät itselleni joululahjaksi?

Tänään ohjelmassa ensin sängystä nouseminen, salitreeni ja sit illaksi töihin... onneksi meitä on tänään kaksi iltavuorossa!!
